Privacy Policy

This policy explains how OCY Games ("we", "us") handles information when you play Equality Hunter (the "Game"). We collect as little as we need to run the Game, keep your progress safe and keep it free with ads.

Who we are

OCY Games is an independent game developer based in Istanbul, Türkiye. Contact: support@ocygames.com.

What we collect

• Account and game data: an anonymous player ID, the nickname you choose, your progress, scores, coins, lives, items, purchases and friends list. This is stored on our servers (Google Firebase / Google Cloud) so your progress is safe and leaderboards work.
• Sign-in data (optional): if you sign in with Game Center, Google Play Games, Google or Apple, we receive an identifier from that service to restore your progress. We do not receive your password.
• Usage and diagnostics: how you play (levels started and finished, features used) and crash reports, through Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. This helps us balance levels and fix bugs.
• Device and advertising data: device type, operating system, language, approximate location from your IP address and, only if you allow it, your device's advertising identifier. Our advertising partners use this to show and measure ads.
• Purchases: purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We receive a receipt to confirm the purchase; we never see your payment card details.
• Notifications: if you allow notifications, a device token so we can remind you when your lives are full or your daily streak is at risk.

Ads

The Game is free and shows optional rewarded video ads: you choose to watch an ad in exchange for an in-game reward. Ads are served by Google AdMob and other ad networks through mediation. Personalized ads are shown only if you agree in the consent screen (and, on iOS, allow tracking). You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & ads.

Why we use it (legal bases)

• To provide the Game and keep your progress (performance of our service).
• To fix bugs, prevent cheating and keep the Game secure (legitimate interest).
• For analytics and personalized advertising (your consent, which you can withdraw).

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Game: Google (Firebase, Google Cloud, AdMob), our other ad networks, Apple and Google for purchases and sign-in. Your nickname, scores and records may be visible to other players on leaderboards and in the Hall of Fame.

Retention

We keep your game data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see below). Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent. Email support@ocygames.com with your player ID (shown in Settings). You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The Game is rated for ages 12 and up and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the European Union and the United States, under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and show the date at the top. Important changes will also be announced in the Game.
